On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting the 52nd Italian Pro Bono Roundtable at the Milan offices of Ashurst, one of our member law firms. We are deeply grateful for their warm hospitality and exceptional professionalism in supporting the success of the event.
We were honored to welcome over 60 participants, both in-person and
online, including lawyers, non-profit organizations, companies, and foundations.
This remarkable diversity fostered a rich and stimulatingexchang e of ideas.
A special thanks goes to Attorney Antonino La Lumia, President of the Milan Bar Association, who shared insights into initiatives aimed at maintaining the legal profession’s focus on its social role, emphasizing how pro bono legal work is a key component of this mission.
Finally, together with our partners I-Com, the Institute for Competitiveness,
and AIGI – the Italian Association of In-House Counsel, we delved into the topic of “integrated governance”. The dynamic and in-depth discussion among businesses, professionals, and the Third Sector highlighted that integration is not only possible but essential to fully meeting sustainability obligations.
