Entry and Mobility of Third-Country National Workers in Europe

The Position Paper “Entry and Mobility of Foreign Workers in Europe”, developed within our Standing Committee on Immigration Law, addresses an issue of significant relevance for institutions, businesses and the Third Sector: regular access to employment, the mobility of foreign workers and the protection of the rights of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Italy and across Europe.
Through an analytical and collaborative approach, the paper highlights three priority areas:

  • the removal of bureaucratic and administrative barriers;
  • the promotion of more effective and inclusive mobility policies;
  • the protection of the rights of immigrant workers, asylum seekers and refugees.

We wish to express our gratitude to Mariateresa Veltri, member of our Board of Directors, for her supervision and coordination of the work, to the working group that contributed to the drafting of the document (D. Albanese, P. Menga, R. Mangiacavallo, T. Marilli, G. Petrilli), and to all the organisations participating in the Standing Committee on Immigration Law, whose collective engagement has made this important outcome possible.
