1ST ITALIAN PRO BONO ROUNDTABLE TOOK PLACE ON 24 APRIL 2014 IN MILAN, HOSTED BY DLA PIPER.
Federico Sutti, from DLA Piper opened the meeting. He provided words of support and hopes that this will be a start of something bigger and better for pro bono in Italy.
Atanas Politov, from PILnet, presented PILnet’s pro bono work in Europe, including the annual European Pro Bono Forum and the work of a dozen European pro bono clearinghouses.
Anne Grewlich, from Ashurst Frankfurt, alked about the Frankfurt pro bono roundtable, which started in 2008.
There was also a discussion about pro bono in general, its definition and the issues and barriers for its development in Italy.
