THE 22ND ITALIAN PRO BONO ROUNDTABLE TOOK PLACE IN MILAN, HOSTED BY HOGAN LOVELLS.
GIOVANNI CAROTENUTO AND F. ROLLA, HOGAN LOVELLS PARTNER IN CHARGE OF PRO BONO ACTIVITIES IN ITALY WELCOMED THE PARTICIPANTS AND OPENED THE MEETING.
Few NGOs were introduced during this roundtable:
- Associazione CAF Onlus
- The Good Lobby
- Medecins Sans Frontieres
- Coordinamento Nazionale TFA
There was also an update on the ongoing PBI’s Italia Project:
- Refugee Mapping Project (RMP). This initiative aims at detecting the NGOs that work on refugees’entrepreneurship programs in Italy, whilst creating a collaboration between PBI and such NGOs.
Roberto Museo, Director of CSVnet, presented the new Reform of the Third Sector.
The following legal clinics were presented:
- University of Bergamo
- University of Perugia and Roma 3
- University of Turin
There was also an update on the NGOs’ Project:
- Open Migration. It explores issues related to the migration phenomenon by analyzing media coverage and providing statistics and other data for the purposes of promoting the spread of real data, whilst dispelling the stereotypes, on migration.
